Peter Roberts, Scot by blood law and cultural heritage was born in 1952.
In 1975 he settled down in San Sebastian where ha began working as a teacher of English. He was greatly drawn to the theatre, but ran up against the logical handicap of language when it came to practising his art. This forced him to exaggerate his bodily expression in order to make himself understood.

He started his own company in 1979 with the idea of investigating the possibilities of non verval communication.
Over the years, his very extensive activity has allowed him to combine interpretation with training and teaching.

In 1983 he published his book, MIME, The Art of Silence, which continues to bear fruit as the use of mime grows in the field of teaching.
He has also been directing the Mime Studio for several years now and has given courses organized by: British Council, Ministry of Education, The Government of the Basque Autonomus Community, Universities and other public institutions for actors, teachers, students and alll those who share his love for mime and illusion.

He recently restarted his artistic activity after suffering a “lapsus” as a consequence of a traffic accident. During the long period of rehabilitation he devised the project “Getting Straight Through”.

Actor y mimo.

Junto a Petronio Cáceres, Enzo Gárate de Perú y Juan Bravo de Chile formamos la Red Latinoamericana de Mimos. Se convierte en una red que promueve el mimo a través de encuentros internacionales en Chile, Honduras, Perú Colombia y Ecuador. En nuestro país se realizó el Primer Encuentro Internacional de Mimo y Pantomima La Alegría del Silencio 2011 organizado por el grupo Trompos y Garabatos y con el apoyo de FEIM Ecuador con participación de siete países. El público pudo ver mimo con distintos estilos y tendencias.

Naci en Madrid, y estudié en la Real Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático de Madrid. También en la Escuela Oficial de Idiomas. Soy actor y Mimo. Tengo una dilatada carrera artistica en mi país. I've been dedicated professionaly to mime since the year 2000. Co-founder of Brou D'Arts, Espai D'Arts Escèniques where we try to share and disseminate our love for theater and mime. I have a couple of shows that have let me travel for festivals and receive prizes and good mentions.

I do fitting pantomimes for any kind of event as well as teaching.

Comenzé en este hermoso Arte hace 9 años en el grupo "Dejando Huella" he sido parte del Instituto de Expresión Máxima. Me he presentado a niños, jovenes y adultos regalando sonrisas y muchos momentos especiales.
Amo este Arte y agradezco toda la alegría y experiencias que esto me ha brindado. Me considera un ser imperfecto pero con la convicción de que el crecimiento es cada día a través de la disciplina, constancia y motivación por brindar calidad al público.

I started in this beautiful art for 9 years in the "making their mark" I have been part of the Institute of High Expression. I have presented to children, youth and adults giving smiles and many special moments.
I love this art and appreciate all the joy and experience that this has given me. I considered an imperfect but in the belief that growth is increasingly through discipline, perseverance and motivation to provide quality to the public.
