AnimAnimal evokes the cycle of life, the natural path that knows every being on earth. Choreographic and musical entries are simultaneously fixed and free.
This piece was first developed in the direstion the Butoh dancer and choreographer Ko Murobushi. Then lorsqu'Ingrid Schoenlaub and Laure Daugé conducted in 2008 a research residency in Montreal, she was the subject of a workshop that artists are offered: it was to capture the choreographic score or musical partner to compose or to dance the imagination told by another. AnimAnimal found his name and his music.
Graduated from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Danse de Paris where she was greatly influenced by the philosophy of work Wilfride Piollet, Laure Daugé decides to extend its repertoire from classical to contemporary.
It occurs in several international companies (Ballet of Zaragoza, Co. Preljocaj Ballet du Nord...). To expand its field of expression and understanding of the performing arts she trained in Dramatic Art.
She founded LDanse Association, whose president, Jean Guizerix, choreography for her La Vega (March 2007). Since 2002, she created each year in Paris a show with her company.
In 2008, she did a six-month residency in Montreal with his partner cellist Ingrid Schoenlaub. In February 2009 she participated in the series of lectures given by Wilfride Piollet danced during Hivernales Avignon and is then invited by the Foundation to Toos produce in London and the Conservatoire National de Lugo in Spain to give an internship teaching team. She attends John Guizerix in 2010 staging and choreography Histoire du Soldat in 2011 to track the implementation of Pierrot Lunaire, and occurs at the Paris Opera The Marriage of Figaro.
Contacted by the designer Abel Guinebault, Laure Daugé created this season "mode démo", an excerpt of which was recently presented at the Grand Palais.
Ingrid Schoenlaub is a cellist graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris in the class of Philippe Müller, she perfected thereafter with Frans Helmerson at the Musikhochschule in Cologne.
Directory Ingrid Schoenlaub ranges from classical to contemporary: it's for many years the cellist Psophos. In addition, she works regularly for all contemporary 2E2M.
In 2007, she appeared as an actress and cellist at the Avignon Festival, where it is staged with his instrument in Armchair 24 (from the Fables of La Fontaine).
His taste for dance led him to collaborate with artists often dance, most recently with Mié Coquempot for the creation of Act II of the Journal of the body.
In 2008, she performed with her partner Laure Daugé a residence of six months in Montreal, during which she composed music AnimAnimal.
